My name is Celestine Anderson and I am the managing director of Angels and Gypsies.
I didn’t start off in the wedding industry. In fact, up until about 10 years ago, I avoided weddings because they used to be boring and as a creative person, I found this very frustrating. However, the industry has changed so much over the years and now we are free to have whatever type of wedding we like; this is very exciting!
I chose to go into the wedding industry after getting married myself. I found personally, that if you were a couple on a budget, even though you were spending what you consider to be a lot of money, many wedding vendors often made you feel bad about your budget. It eventually got to the point where I was too embarrassed to tell vendors what my budget was through fear that they would make me feel small. This led to me wasting both mine and the suppliers time with quotes that were totally out of my budget because I was too embarrassed to be straight with them. I have spoken to many brides who have had the same experience. In the end, I did a lot of my wedding decor myself; and I enjoyed it; although it was hard work!
I decided to start Angels and Gypsies so that if you were a couple on a budget or creative, you could have somewhere that you could hire in decor items that would usually either be too expensive or too much hassle to buy. Or, if a couple still wanted to feel like a VIP, to offer them a full decor service that did not break the bank. All of this whilst still making you feel like a valued customer! I believe that every couple deserves the wedding of their dreams, and my aim is to help couples get there; or as economically close as possible.

I am a mixed bag of talents. I studied Fashion design and technology at the London College of Fashion, I have multiple qualifications in the wedding and event planning and venue decor and last but not least, I have a First class Law degree; I am creative and intelligent! I also have previous experience of organising stalls for international trade fairs all over Europe; events management was part of my job for over 7 years.
I started Angels and Gypsies in order to use my skills, knowledge and experience to get each couple that dream day or as close as economically possible. I am committed to helping each couple or event organiser that crosses my path, achieve their visual goals. I want good service to be something that everyone deserves.
